She has been responsible for organising and promoting such events as the first four editions of the Tischner Days Festival, the Znak Flying University, the eighth edition of the Great Night-time Reading Literary Festival (connected with the awarding of the Kościelski Prize), promotion of Herta Muller’s visit to Poland, as well as promotion of many books and artistic events.
Iwona Haberny is a graduate of the Polish Literature and History departments of the Jagiellonian University. She is certified in financial advising. She has worked as the head of the promotion department at two of Krakow’s leading publishing houses: Znak (1996-2000) and Wydawnictwo Literackie (2004-2012).[:]
